The new 35mm lens incorporates Samyang's key features such as a focus hold button, a custom switch and Samyang's popular Linear STM, which satisfies both photographers and videographers with quieter and more precise focus lens group control.

The optical design consists of 11 elements in 9 groups. 2 HR and 2 ASP (aspherical) elements in the lens deliver stunning contrast and stunning resolution. Advanced coating technology maintains excellent image clarity even in difficult lighting conditions. Thanks to the advanced optical design, edge-to-edge sharpness is maintained even at maximum aperture, so optical performance is consistent across all exposure settings.

The 9-blade circular aperture design creates a stunning bokeh effect and creates outstanding image depth when highlighting subjects.

The Samyang Linear Stepper Motor (STM) delivers the high traction efficiency required for fast, accurate, quiet AF and tracking, while increasing the performance of Sony E-Mount cameras. Compared to the previous AF 35mm F1.4 FE, this new AF 35mm F1.4 FE II is optimized not only for taking photos but also for video, reducing vibration and noise.

The AF 35mm F1.4 FEII has a new and modern design. It has an aluminum focus ring that works great, weather insulation (4 zones) ensures use even in harsh weather and protects the lens from light rain, snow and dust. In addition to the new design, the lens also features Samyang's popular key features, such as a focus hold button and a custom switch. When you press the focus hold button on the side of the lens, it will lock at a certain focus distance, and the button also allows you to assign functions such as Eye AF in the camera settings. The custom switch can be set to allow you to quietly adjust the aperture by rotating the focus lever using the Samyang Lens Station (optional) to set the mode to your liking.
