This Caruba Extension Tube set (type II) consists of three extension rings that can be used separately, but can also be combined. Extension tubes are perfect for macro photography or for taking special close-ups.

The extension rings have no optical elements, making it possible to image subjects larger and closer, without negatively affecting the quality of the image. The extension rings have a chrome mount and are compatible with Canon EF and EF-S lenses. Options such as auto focus and TTL metering continue to work as normal. It is recommended to focus manually, because the sharpness is very close.

Each lens has a minimum focusing distance. If you place an extension tube (in Dutch: intermediate ring) between the lens and the camera body, the minimum focusing distance becomes smaller. The greater the focal length of the extension ring, the closer you can get and the more detail you can capture.
