Plug it into your car’s cigarette lighter socket

A power pack plugged into a traditional contact is not the only way to top up the Argus 1200 Power Station. Those who frequently travel in cars or campervans can use a 12 or 24 volt cigarette lighter socket. In the former case, the charging time will be 11.5 to 12.5 hours. If you use a 24-volt socket, it will take between 5.5 and 6.5 h to fully replenish the energy.

Energy from solar panels

You can also charge the Newell Argus 1200 power station using a solar panel. Included with the device you will find a DC cable with a compatible MC4 connector. The manufacturer recommends the use of a 200 W panel with a DC voltage of 13 V – 24 V. If you are lucky with the sun, the charging time with such a device will be between 7 and 9 hours.

Backlit screen

The Newell Argus 1200 Power Station is equipped with a backlit LCD screen which provides all the necessary data related to the use of the device. This includes an indication of the level of available power, the remaining charging time, as well as information on the sockets and ports currently in use.

Portable LED light

On the casing of the Newell Argus 1200 charging station you will find an elongated LED panel with a maximum output of 2 W, which turns this versatile power bank into a portable light source. A small button will allow you to quickly and conveniently switch the light on or off, set one of 3 brightness levels, and use the “SOS” mode in emergency situations.
