With a resolution of 5 megapixels and an extremely fast scan time of 1 second for a scan, the Braun NovoScan LCD delivers top quality scans.
The scanner is PC independent, i.e. scanning via the PC is not possible.

The scanner can be used anywhere thanks to the battery or power adapter supplied. The scanned images are saved on an SD / SDHC card (not included) and can be viewed immediately on the 2.4 inch LDC display. Negatives are automatically converted to positives. With the help of the USB cable it is possible to read out the scans on the PC and then, if desired, edit them with an image processing program. Viewing via TV is also possible.
A high level of scanning efficiency is achieved by using the slide or film holder, which ultimately saves time.

The specialist for slide technology from Baden-Württemberg, BRAUN Photo Technik GmbH, has been offering efficient solutions with its successful "NovoScan" family for several years. With immediate effect, BRAUN is presenting another new model from this series with the NovoScan LCD.

The BRAUN NovoScan LCD delivers very good scans through the use of a high-performance CMOS sensor with 1800 dpi at 5 million pixels and a color depth of 24 bits. The CMOS sensor enables an extremely fast scanning speed of only one second per slide or negative.

The BRAUN NovoScan LCD is computer independent. A computer is therefore not required for scanning. The scanner can be used anywhere thanks to the battery supplied. The scanned images are saved on an SD / SDHC card (not included) and can be viewed immediately on the 2.4 inch LCD display. Negatives are automatically converted to positives. With the help of the USB cable it is possible to read out the scans on the computer and then edit them with an image processing program, if desired. Viewing via TV (TV-Out NTSC / PAL) is also possible.

Both individual slides (5x5cm, up to a thickness of 3.2 mm, max. Three pieces in a holder) as well as single negatives or entire negative film strips (35 mm, up to 6 images in one piece) are scanned. Appropriate slide and film holders are included. The scan area is max. 24.3 x 36.5 mm.

The weight of the new BRAUN NovoScan LCD is pleasantly low at approx. 450 grams. The small dimensions of the compact device are only 108 x 106 x 143 mm (L x W x H). The offer also includes the image processing program ArcSoft Media Impression, which can be used both under Windows and Mac.
